Leo Scaglione Jr. Bio

hidden by Leo Scaglione Jr.

Leo is a Staten Island, NY, native who started following hockey in 1994-95. His passion for the sport was evident from an early age as he consumed everything hockey - from watching on television to leaving rubber puck marks all around his parents' house.

After graduating from Montclair State University, Leo entered the hockey media world, where he interned for "The Hockey Maven" Stan Fischler and wrote stories for Center Ice, the official game night program of the Devils, during the 2014-15 season. He was a contributing writer for the New York Hockey Journal and New England Hockey Journal, writing features about players and teams from both the professional and amateur ranks. He was one of their prospects gurus, highlighting players expected to be selected in the NHL draft, focusing on their upbringing and journey on and off the ice en route to becoming a draft prospect. He also served as the NYHJ's beat reporter covering the Devils and Islanders.

Leo is currently the Graphics Producer for Devils telecasts on MSG Networks.
