Boy, Monday night's game was one of the tougher, more emotional losses I’ve covered in this role...
Look, as Sheldon said, nobody wants to talk about the Xs and Os of this one; you just have to move on from it and be ready to bring your best tonight vs. DAL.
DILLY'S GOOD TO GO
It was so great to see Dilly on the ice and feeling good this morning, and Sheldon confirmed that he will be good to go tonight. The last thing the Devils needed was another injury to the backend, or for Dilly's silver stick ceremony to be placed on hold. Looking forward to seeing him get recognized tonight for his outstanding accomplishment!!

HOTTEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE
Again, what a test the Devils have in front of them tonight with arguably the hottest team in the league coming into the Rock tonight. This is a DAL team that, in their last 13 GP, only have one regulation loss and are top five in essentially every major area of the game.
Regardless of the fact that the Stars are on the second night of a B2B and just learned they will likely be without Tyler Seguin for the rest of the season, the Devils have to come ready to play tonight right from the opening puck drop. This is a deep, experienced DAL team that will make you pay if you don't bring your best at 5v5, win the special teams, and have stellar goaltending (yes, we need a Vintage Marky performance between the pipes!), and I expect that to be no different tonight with the adversity they are facing.
