So many positives to get into as we get set for tonight's game at the Rock!
JACK, TIMO, & GRITS ARE BACK!!!
It felt like Christmas morning today, getting to the rink to see Jack, Timo, Grits (and yes, even Kovy, who is not quite ready yet!) all on the ice for the optional morning skate!!!
For the Devils to get all three of these guys back in the lineup tonight is truly an early Christmas gift! Just need the W!!!

JACKLESS TRENDS BEHIND US?!
It might take some time, so, we may have to be patient... But hopefully, with Jack returning to the lineup tonight, it means the 'Jackless' trends we've been seeing – specifically with the Devils' diminishing play in the 2nd Periods and on the PP – start to regress back to where they were at in the first 17 GP when Jack was in the lineup.
As for the PP, the remaining guys in the lineup have done their best, and they had zero drop off in terms of the execution the first 9 GP without Jack. However, it has been the last 9 GP that they eventually were starting to realize there's nothing under their feet anymore... And that's when the Wile E Coyote appeared and fell off the cliff!

Tage Thompson enters tonight’s game on a 6-Game Goal Streak (6-3–9), the longest active streak of any player in the league. The Devils successfully held him off the scoresheet in the 5-0 W @ BUF back on Nov. 28… Time to do shut him down again!
