With the Devils’ season unfortunately coming to an end tonight, I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for your support of my content here on BryceSalvador.com throughout the season.
Whoever takes on the new GM role has a lot of work ahead of them this offseason. In addition to Nemo, Grits, and Cotter being arbitration-eligible RFAs, the Devils still desperately need another legitimate top-six winger, have to sort out that logjam on the backend, and need to get the Captain extended ASAP.
There's a lot on the to-do list – including some things that maybe we don't have on our bingo cards – but it all starts with ownership making the right hire or hires to take this team back to where it needs to be next season.
Like all of you, I’m excited to follow the offseason storylines and see where this goes before we break it all down in September.
